Sara Silm

Sara is a freelance writer and stylist whose work has been published by Australia's leading stable of Interiors magazines, including Inside Out, Vogue, Australian House & Garden, Australian Country Style, Home Beautiful, and Real Living. She has also been a regular guest on Australian radio discussing interior design, a subject she taught at the International School of Colour & Design in Sydney. Since leaving Australia's shores 12 years ago, she worked as a freelance travel writer based in both Russia and Kazakhstan. After that, she renovated Chateau Montfort in SW France, the inspiration for her first book, "How To French Country," published by Thames & Hudson. Recently, Sara collaborated on a collection of 42 French-inspired wallpapers with Sandberg Wallpaper. The collection celebrates the royal family's Béarnaise provenance and Sandberg's esteemed role as purveyor to the Royal Court of Sweden. Sara currently splits her time between SW France and her home in London.
